# Solo Queue

There are two main queue modes: [<mark style="color:orange;">Solo queues</mark>](#solo-queues), where teams are formed from individual participants, and [<mark style="color:blue;">Team queues</mark>](#team-queues), where pre-defined teams participate together.

## <mark style="color:orange;">Solo queues</mark>

You can recognize Solo Queues by the queue size: <mark style="color:orange;">Solo</mark>. The mode can be either Solo (30 solo players), Duo (30 duo teams), or Trio (20 trio teams). Teams are formed using the SCRIMZ MMR ELO system [elo-rating](https://scrimz.gitbook.io/docs/ranked-and-points/elo-rating "mention").

"Eligible" indicates who is eligible to join the queue. It distinguishes between Casual, Contender, and Professional players.

You can enter the queue by clicking the "Join Queue" button. Afterwards, you can use the [mapvoting](https://scrimz.gitbook.io/docs/queues/mapvoting "mention") and [dropspot-picker](https://scrimz.gitbook.io/docs/queues/dropspot-picker "mention")

To leave the queue, you can press the button again. Please note that you can only rejoin the queue after a cooldown period of 5 minutes.
